The Móstoles City Council announces the XVI edition of the photography contest 'Móstoles en fiestas', which will distribute €2,000 in prizes. The submission period begins on September 21.
The Móstoles City Council has called for a new edition of the contest 'Móstoles en fiestas', which will reward the best photographs taken during the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities. The winner will receive €1,000, the second prize €600, and the third €400.
This initiative comes from the Department of Mobility, Transport, Consumer Affairs, and Festivities. The jury will evaluate the reflection of the theme, creativity, artistic and technical quality, and the composition of the submitted images.
Entries can be submitted from September 21 to October 2, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Events Area, located at San Antonio Street, 2, first floor. Each author may submit only one image.
The photographs must be printed on photographic paper, in colour or black and white, with a size of 30 x 40 cm and mounted on a 40 x 50 cm white cardboard backing, without a mat.
The jury's decision will be announced on October 23 at 7:00 PM in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Centre Villa de Móstoles, where all participants must attend to learn the results. The best images will be part of an exhibition that can be visited from October 23 to November 15 at the same centre.
