The Culture Department of Villalbilla has presented its programme for the year, which will run from October to June and will include theatre, dance, visual arts, and music.

The Villalbilla Town Council has announced the new season of cultural activities that will mainly take place between October and June, with weekly sessions and proposals for all audiences. The programme, driven by the Culture Department, aims to encourage citizen participation and bring various artistic disciplines closer to the residents.

Among the new offerings is the Municipal School of Theatre Arts A ESCENA, which will provide theatrical training for all ages, in collaboration with associations such as PROSZENIA Teatro. The ballroom dancing and Latin rhythms will also continue, including Cuban wheel and other styles, both individual and partner-based.

In the field of visual arts, workshops have been scheduled for furniture restoration, modelling and carving, tapestries, drawing and painting, and creative photography. These activities are designed to develop the creativity and manual skills of participants, with options for different levels and interests.

Music will play an important role with the Villalbilla Musical Association, which comprises about 30 members and offers classes in music theory and instruments, as well as group rehearsals led by the teacher and conductor Rafael Díaz. The Performing Arts Villalbilla has also been introduced, aimed at those who wish to train in singing, dancing, and acting, with the opportunity to participate in the musicals prepared by the association.

From October to December, interested individuals can register for the nativity workshops, an artistic tradition that combines creativity, history, and personal expression, allowing attendees to learn how to create their own nativity scenes.

The programme is complemented by initiatives that take place throughout the year, such as Te Apunt@s, which includes group outings to shows and exhibitions in Madrid; Abril Cultural, which brings together theatre, dance, painting, music, sports, and poetry; temporary exhibitions of local artists; Hago Zas!, dedicated to visual arts, restoration, and photography; and the traditional Cuento de la Navidad, featuring the residents of Villalbilla themselves.

For more information on groups, schedules, and registrations, interested parties can contact the Culture Promotion area at the phone number 672 113 039 or via email at ocioyculturavillalbilla@gmail.com.

With this offering, the municipality aims to continue providing spaces for meeting, learning, and participation for residents of all ages, combining training, creativity, and leisure to keep cultural activity alive throughout the year.
