The Centre for Adult Education of Rivas-Vaciamadrid will debut the Erasmus+ Accreditation next academic year and consolidate its inclusive Operational Workshop, with 95 hours of internships in companies.
The Centre for Adult Education (CEPA) of Rivas-Vaciamadrid has presented its programme for the 2026-2027 academic year, which includes as its main novelty the obtaining of the Erasmus+ Accreditation, a European seal that opens the doors to training stays and internships abroad for public adult education students.
The management of the centre, located in the CERPA building (calle de los Picos de Urbión, 29), emphasises that this distinction "democratises" access to international mobility, allowing for improvements in languages, key competencies, and professional projection within the European framework. "We want our students to know that in public education there are no glass ceilings," the management states.
Operational Workshop: socio-labour inclusion
Another commitment for the next academic year is the maintenance and reinforcement of the Operational Workshop for Auxiliary Operations of General and Operational Services, a public and free two-year training programme aimed at young people and adults with intellectual disabilities and special educational needs (SEN).
This programme includes 95 hours of internships in companies during the second year and grants an official certification recognised by the Community of Madrid, which certifies competencies in office work, reprography, reception, and basic administrative tasks. The number of places is limited to 15, so the centre recommends formalising registration as soon as possible.
Consolidated academic offer
Alongside the new offerings, CEPA keeps registration open for its two main training pathways: obtaining the Graduation Certificate in ESO (ESPA), in either face-to-face or blended mode, and the Preparation Course for Access Tests to Higher Vocational Training, which allows access to Higher Vocational Training without the need for a Baccalaureate.
The combination of European accreditation, inclusive programmes, and traditional pathways makes the centre a benchmark for lifelong learning in the locality. The offer is completed with initial education, languages, digital training, and occupational workshops, co-financed in key programmes by the Community of Madrid and the European Union.
Registration for all courses will take place in September at the centre's secretariat. Due to high demand and the limited number of places in specific programmes, CEPA recommends that interested parties check the established deadlines and register in advance.
