The urbanisation of Manzanares el Real has scheduled tournaments, workshops, music, and children's activities for a week. All activities are free.
The urbanisation La Ponderosa de la Sierra, in Manzanares el Real, celebrates its annual festivals from August 10 to 16 with a programme that combines sports, family leisure, and music. The organisation is managed by the urbanisation itself with the collaboration of the Town Hall of Manzanares el Real.
Activities will begin on Monday, August 10 with a table tennis tournament, and will continue on Tuesday, August 11 with a crafts workshop. On Thursday, August 13, there will be a BMX day, and on Friday, August 14, the table tennis tournament and the finals of the futsal tournament will take place.
The highlight will be on Saturday, August 15, with a bouncy castle and foam party, table tennis finals, a costume contest, awards ceremony, community snack, and a concert by “La Cordobesa”. The festivities will conclude on Sunday, August 16 with a mass.
All activities will take place at the Sports Complex of the urbanisation and will be free of charge. To participate, simply register 10 minutes before the start of each activity, except for futsal and table tennis.
The programme is designed for all ages, with offerings ranging from the youngest to adults. Saturday's events will concentrate the majority of family activities, with morning and afternoon schedules.
Residents of Manzanares el Real and visitors will be able to enjoy a week of community and sports in a natural setting. The urbanisation La Ponderosa de la Sierra thus becomes the epicentre of summer leisure in the municipality during these days.
