Feria Tuesday in Alcalá de Henares brought together 500 players for the Mass Mus Tournament, along with concerts, dances, and activities for all ages.
The day of Tuesday, August 25 at the Alcalá de Henares Fairs kicked off strongly in the Plaza de Palacio, where 500 players gathered for the Mass Mus Tournament, organised by the Madrilenian Mus Association. The event became one of the main attractions of the day for fans of this card game.
Music also had its place with the Patio Nights, featuring a performance by Esquivel, and the Park Nights, where Manuel Alejandro was the star. Additionally, the Plaza de Cervantes hosted the traditional senior dance, an event that repeats every year and gathers numerous locals.
One of the most anticipated moments was the snack with the seniors at the Francisco de Vitoria residence, organised by the festive groups. Sports were also present: the 3x3 Basketball, promoted by the Alcalá Basketball Club, filled one of the areas set up for the competition with activity.
The groups added their unique colour with activities such as the Grillarcilla by Los Grillaos, the FrikiGol by Puerta de Alcalá, or the cheerleading workshop and exhibition by El Cazo. During the morning, the Peña El Encierro organised the Solidarity Mini-Olympics for the benefit of the Astier San José Centre Foundation, an initiative that combined sports and solidarity.
The programme also reached the neighbourhoods, such as in Espartales Norte, where the Plaza del Viento hosted a children's park with bouncy castles for the little ones. The day was completed with the traditional wines from the Casa de Soria, the Extremaduran Centre of Alcalá, and the Alcalá Rugby Club, as well as the vermouth from the groups El Hormigón, El Cazo, and Los Gladiadores.
The solidarity migas from Los Jardineros and a new edition of the Heritage by Moonlight tour, which this time explored the City Hall, closed a Feria Tuesday that once again demonstrated the variety of offerings for all audiences.
