The municipality celebrates its 35th anniversary with a month full of activities: Far West market, OLA September, the Sports Gala and the XXV Gastronomic Days.

The Town Hall of Tres Cantos has presented the programme for September, a month in which the municipality commemorates its 35 years of history with an agenda that combines leisure, culture, sport and gastronomy for all ages. The offer kicks off with the Far West Market, which from 11 to 13 September will transform the Plaza de la Familia into a scene from the Wild West, featuring music, parades, shows, crafts and themed children's areas.

A week later, from 14 to 20 September, the seventh edition of DeSTOCKaje Tres Cantos will take place, an initiative aimed at promoting local consumption and strengthening the bond between traders and residents, with local businesses taking centre stage.

The most anticipated event is OLA September, which will be held from 17 to 20 September with four days of music, gastronomy and leisure to bid farewell to summer. Highlights include the Burger Cup, the Fire Gala, OLA Youth, the Grand Fair and the Anaconda Orchestra. On Sunday 20 September, the Fairgrounds will host the Family Party, a morning of games and entertainment for families.

Sport also plays a significant role. On 12 September at 21:15 hours, the Tres Cantos Night Race will take place, an urban route through the city. On Friday 25 September, the Sports Gala will be held, recognising the efforts of residents and entities that have contributed to promoting sports values in the municipality.

The month will culminate with the XXV Gastronomic Days, which will be held on 25, 26 and 27 September in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. During these days, regional houses will offer performances, tastings and sales of products, crafts and children's activities.

In addition to the major events, the programme includes the resumption of activities in municipal spaces. The Antonio Somalo Bernal Municipal Senior Centre will resume its physical activity, psychology, new technologies and social meeting workshops. The Adolfo Suárez Cultural Centre will host new exhibitions and a revamped theatre programme, and library services and Municipal Artistic Schools will also return.

The mayor of Tres Cantos, Jesús Moreno, has highlighted that “September means coming together again and enjoying Tres Cantos together.” He added that the municipal government has designed a programme “to continue filling our public spaces with life and, above all, to keep building our city.” He also emphasised that this year each event takes on a special significance due to the 35th anniversary of Tres Cantos, an occasion to “value everything we have built together and look forward with hope to all that is yet to come.”
