The Valdemorillo Craft Market returns on 5th and 6th September to La Fuente Street, featuring unique pieces from Artesierra artisans. It will be a double showcase during the patron festivities.
The Valdemorillo Craft Market will set up its stalls during the September Festivals, following its debut last May. The event will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, from 10:00 to 15:00, on the central La Fuente Street, next to the Plaza de la Constitución.
Driven by cultural manager Carlos Guerrero and in collaboration with the Artesierra group, the market will bring together artisans working with materials such as clay, fabric, wax, glass, or wood. The offerings will include textiles, accessories, jewellery, candles, and natural products like honey, all of which are unique handmade pieces.
The Valdemorillo Town Council, which has already declared this market a "social good", aims to promote local tourism and energise public spaces during the festivities. For residents and visitors, the two-day event will provide an added incentive to explore the urban centre and discover the talent of the participating creators.
The market presents itself as a "great artisan showcase" where attendees can find pieces that reflect the unique style and signature of each artisan. This will be the second edition of the year, thus completing its annual programme in the locality.
With this initiative, Valdemorillo strengthens its leisure offerings during the September Festivals, turning La Fuente Street into a meeting point to enjoy creativity and artisanal tradition.
