The works on the second phase of the street of Rosario have finished. Pedestrian access and parking are now available, and vehicle traffic will be allowed from 21 August.

The Hoyo de Manzanares Town Hall has announced that the works on the second phase of the renovation of the street of Rosario have concluded. From this Friday, 14 August 2026, residents can use the pedestrian access to the road and the parking spaces in the square of Our Lady of Rosario, which have been made available for regular use.

The opening to vehicle traffic, according to the council, is scheduled for next Friday, 21 August. In the meantime, the area will remain restricted to vehicles to complete the final touches of the intervention.

In a statement, the local government team thanked residents for their understanding and patience during the development of the works and apologised for the inconveniences caused. The works are part of a plan to improve accessibility and the urban appearance of the municipality.

The completion of this phase represents another step in the transformation of one of the most central streets of Hoyo de Manzanares. The parking spaces in the square of Our Lady of Rosario are now operational, which will relieve pressure in the surrounding areas.

The Town Hall has not specified whether additional works are pending on the street, but has assured that it continues to work to make the town a more beautiful and accessible municipality for everyone. Residents who need to travel by car in the area will have to wait until 21 August for the full reopening to traffic.
