The musical comedy 'Inolvidable' featuring Carmen Morales arrives on Sunday 4 at Teatro Villa de Móstoles, and Carola Ortiz premieres her album 'Cantareras' on Thursday 1 at Teatro El Soto. The programme includes dance, original version films, puppetry, and exhibitions.
The City Council of Móstoles, through the Department of Education and Culture, has scheduled a week of activities that includes the premiere in the Community of Madrid of the concert 'Cantareras', by singer and clarinetist Carola Ortiz, and the musical comedy 'Inolvidable', starring actress Carmen Morales.
Carola Ortiz will present her fourth album on Thursday 1 October at 20:00 at Teatro El Soto. The project is inspired by the women who collected water from springs and rivers and explores the oral tradition of female songs from the Iberian Peninsula, rescued from field archives. This will be the premiere in the Community of Madrid.
Actress Carmen Morales will arrive on Sunday 4 October at Teatro Villa de Móstoles with the musical comedy 'Inolvidable'.
The programme begins on Monday 28 September with the exhibition 'Love visual perspective', by the collective Los Picassos from the AMÁS Foundation, at the Joan Miró Sociocultural Centre. It will be open for visits until 8 October.
As part of the original version film cycle Filmoteca, on Wednesday 30 September at 18:30, the Tunisian film 'Prometido el cielo (Promise le ciel, 2025)' will be screened at the Norte-Universidad Sociocultural Centre. The film, starring Aïssa Maïga, tells the story of Marie, an Ivorian shepherdess and former journalist who has been living in Tunisia for ten years.
On Friday 2 October at 11:00, there will be a guided tour 'Reacción interfaz' of the exhibition 'Acto final' at the Villa de Móstoles Cultural Centre, followed by the presentation of the catalogue in the Conference Room (4th floor). Admission is free.
Móstoles writer Belén Bega will present her book 'Los cuentos de Selene' on Friday 2 at 18:00 at the Almudena Grandes Central Library. The work follows Selene, a girl with a vivid imagination who discovers life values through her adventures.
Photographer from Lorca Pedro Javier Alcázar, known as El niño de las luces, will offer a talk 'Night Photography and Light Painting' in collaboration with the Móstoles Photographic Association (AFOM) on Friday 2 at 18:30 in the Conference Room of the Villa de Móstoles Cultural Centre.
On Friday 2 and Saturday 3, Teatro Villa de Móstoles will host the show 'La pantera', a solo performance by Javier Rodríguez Cobos that fuses dance, humour, theatre, video, and magic at 20:00.
During the weekend of 3 and 4 October, the film 'El tesoro de Barracuda (2025)' will be screened as part of the Family Cinema cycle: on Saturday at 18:00 at the El Soto Sociocultural Centre, and on Sunday at 12:00 at the Norte-Universidad Sociocultural Centre and at 18:00 at the Joan Miró Sociocultural Centre. The film is nominated for Best Animated Film at the Goya Awards.
La Tartana Teatro will be at Teatro El Soto on Sunday 4 at 12:30 with their puppet show 'El escondite de la abuela', based on the Japanese legend The Ubasute Mountain.
