The EMMDAPAD of Galapagar opens enrolment for the 2026-2027 academic year with new theatre, dance, and music groups at the Cultural Centre La Pocilla. The annual fee is 18 euros and places are limited.
The Municipal School of Music, Dance and Performing Arts of Galapagar (EMMDAPAD) has presented the programme for the 2026-2027 academic year, which includes new formations and groups for theatre, dance, and music for children, young people, and adults. All activities are held at the Cultural Centre La Pocilla.
In theatre, the offer includes a children's group for kids aged 4 to 6 years on Mondays from 17:00 to 18:00; children's and youth musical theatre for ages 7 to 11 years on Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00 and for 12 to 18 years on Mondays from 19:00 to 20:30; youth and adult theatre for those over 14 years on Fridays from 18:30 to 20:30; adult theatre on Tuesdays from 19:30 to 21:30; and a workshop on Acting in Front of the Camera on Fridays from 17:00 to 18:30.
The music programme includes shared piano and guitar classes, available from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 18:30. In dance, the Free Dance Workshop is added on Fridays from 20:00 to 21:30, and Ecstatis Dance Session, one Saturday a month from 18:30 to 21:30. Ballroom dancing for those over 16 years is maintained on Wednesdays at 18:30, flamenco and sevillanas for young people and adults from 16 years on Mondays and Wednesdays at 17:30, contemporary dance for students aged 9 to 14 years on Fridays at 17:30, and urban dance for adults on Fridays at 18:30.
The enrolment for the first activity has discounts: 30% for general category large families and people with disabilities below 33%; 50% for special category large families and people with disabilities below 65%; and 70% for those over 65 years.
