The municipality of Garganta de los Montes and its annex El Cuadrón are currently celebrating the Fiesta of the Meadows and The Pillar with a programme that involves brotherhoods, parishes, farmers, and locals.
Residents of Garganta de los Montes and El Cuadrón are celebrating the Fiesta of the Meadows and The Pillar, two events that the municipality maintains with the collaboration of the brotherhoods of both devotions, the parishes of San Pedro and The Pillar, the Todos Amigos Association, farmers and hunters, advertisers, the City Council staff, and the festival committees.
The organisation has expressed gratitude for the involvement of all the groups and residents who make the programme possible, of which the complete calendar of events has been disseminated.
These dates are a meeting point for everyone: for those who were born here and for those who came to stay. They are the festivals that our parents and grandparents left us,” the organisation states.
The message from the festival committees emphasizes the transmission of traditions to new generations and the maintenance of the municipality's roots. It also calls for community unity during these days.
“Our absolute priority is and will always be Garganta de los Montes and El Cuadrón,” the organisers add in their congratulatory message to the residents.
