The Zarzuela Group of Alcalá de Henares opened the musical cycle Las Noches del Parque in Sementales this Sunday with a full house. The cycle continues until Saturday with tributes and concerts from local artists.
The Zarzuela Group of Alcalá de Henares filled the stage of Sementales this Sunday at the first event of Las Noches del Parque. The show ‘Zarzuela y más' kicked off a musical programme that will run until Saturday with local artists in the spotlight.
Among the audience was the mayor, Judith Piquet, accompanied by councillors Isabel Ruiz Maldonado and Antonio Saldaña. The warm reception of this first evening confirms the appeal of a cycle that champions the talent of the city.
The agenda continues this Monday 24 with Juanjo Espinosa and his tribute to the 2000s titled ‘Generación Milenial'. On Tuesday 25, it will be Manuel Alejandro's turn, who will pay tribute to Nino Bravo with the show ‘Vuelve', and on Wednesday 26, Diego Larrea will perform ‘Despierta'.
On Thursday 27, local artist Sonia Andrade will present “Así canto yo”, while on Friday 28, Patricia Velasco will take the stage with “Noches de Copla”. On Saturday, the closing day, there will be a double session: first The Fábula, a group formed by Carlitos Chacal, Lito Castillo, and Luisvi Saldaña, who will perform pop covers, and then the Formula Pop Concert as the grand finale.
All performances, held at Sementales, are free for the public. Residents who wish to enjoy live music have an appointment every evening starting at 21:00 hours.
