The Community of Madrid has granted the Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra a subsidy of €4,338.12 to improve and equip the municipal youth centre.

The Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra has received a subsidy of €4,338.12 from the Department of Family, Youth and Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid to enhance its municipal youth centre. The aid, framed within Order 2532/2026, will cover up to 75% of the investment in the improvement and equipment of the space designated for the youth of the municipality.

The regional resolution has prioritised towns with smaller populations, directly benefiting the Sierra Norte. This aims to ensure that young people in rural areas have adequately equipped public spaces for their activities.

With this funding, the council will acquire computer and sports equipment. Among the planned items are 3 Lenovo V15 laptops (totaling €1,737), 1 Lenovo V15 G4-IRU laptop (€739), 9 Trust H-150 headphones (€130.5) and a Leitz Home office A4 guillotine (€57.8). Also included are 2 sports nets 42×42 (€156), 2 sports nets 3×20 (€450), a Denon DJ SC LIVE 4 sound table (€1,300) and an iron bull cart (€210).

The payment of the subsidy will be made in advance to facilitate the execution of the works and the purchase of the materials. Once the works are completed, the municipal government team will justify the investment made, and the new equipment will become part of the Town Hall's inventory of assets.

The council positively values the arrival of these funds, which will allow for better resources and leisure and meeting alternatives for the youth of the municipality.
