The Puentes Viejas Town Hall announces a photography and illustration contest to choose the cover of the 2027 Municipal Calendar. Anyone over 16 can participate until September 30.
The Puentes Viejas Town Hall has opened the deadline for participating in the contest that will choose the image for the cover of the 2027 Municipal Calendar. The call seeks a personal and creative perspective on the municipality: its towns, landscapes, heritage, nature, or daily life.
Anyone over 16 years old can participate, regardless of whether they are registered in Puentes Viejas. Each participant will submit a single work, which can be a photograph (taken with a camera, mobile phone, or other device), a traditional or digital illustration, or a composition of several images as long as it forms a single piece.
The submission must have been created specifically for this contest, made within the municipal area of Puentes Viejas, and be recognizably linked to the municipality. Images generated with artificial intelligence are not accepted. If identifiable people appear in a photograph, the participant must have the necessary image rights authorizations.
The jury, appointed by the Town Hall, will evaluate the works anonymously and will consider their connection to the municipality, artistic or photographic quality, originality, and adaptation to the final format. The contest may be declared void if no proposal reaches sufficient quality.
The selected work will be the cover of the calendar, which will be distributed free of charge throughout the municipality. Its author will receive a diploma, several copies of the calendar, and public recognition of their authorship. There is no monetary prize.
The work must be submitted in digital format with sufficient quality for printing. A minimum resolution of 5,000 pixels on the horizontal side is recommended, as the final format will be approximately 43.5 centimetres wide and between 29 and 40 centimetres high. It will be valued that the composition allows for the incorporation of text and identification of the Town Hall without detracting from the image.
