The Café Teatro La Marazuela, in Las Rozas, will host the concert of Natalia Calderón & Sebastián Chames Quartet on December 18 at 20:00, a tribute to two key figures of jazz: George Gershwin and Duke Ellington.
Singer and actress Natalia Calderón and pianist and composer Sebastián Chames have been developing this project for over eight years, in which they reinterpret with personality and sensitivity some of the most emblematic compositions of both masters.
Calderón has performed at festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Bangkok International Jazz Festival, and Jazzaldia, while Chames, considered one of the most prominent figures in Spanish jazz, has developed much of his career between Madrid and New York.
The concert, lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes, is aimed at adults. Tickets cost 15 euros for a seat and 10 euros for a chair. Advance sales begin on September 9 at Tu Butaca, and regular sales open on September 16.
