Móstoles closes its summer programme with a tribute to Joaquín Sabina, an Irish folklore show, and a children's performance. The events will take place from August 28 to 30 in two squares of the municipality.

The programme of Verbena 2026 and Verbena Infantil comes to an end this weekend in Móstoles with three free proposals for all audiences. The Móstoles City Council, through the Department of Education and Culture, has prepared a final segment that combines music, theatre, and dance.

On Friday August 28, at 21:30 hours, the company Rendos Pequeño will present "Charlatán Rodríguez" in the Plaza del Sol del PAU-4. The show, designed for the little ones, mixes music, comedy, magic, and audience participation.

The performance revolves around a charlatan who arrives in a village with his sharp tongue, tuned instruments, and a sales booth full of remedies for all ailments. A theatrical proposal that seeks the complicity of the attending children.

The next day, Saturday August 29, also at 21:30 hours, the Plaza de la Cultura will host the tribute to Joaquín Sabina by the Valladolid band Jimenos Band. The concert will review the most iconic songs of the Úbeda singer with a relaxed tone and plenty of humour.

The grand finale will take place on Sunday August 30, at the same time and in the same venue, featuring the Irish dance and folklore company. Their show combines the strength and precision of Irish dance with the richness of its music and popular roots, through carefully crafted choreographies and energetic rhythms.

This performance will close an edition that, during July and August, has brought free outdoor shows to the residents of Móstoles, bringing culture to all audiences on summer nights. The three events this weekend maintain that spirit: free access with no prior reservation needed in the squares of the municipality.
