The Local Government Board of Valdemorillo has approved the concession of a new kiosk in La Nava Park and three premises in the lower part of the Candelaria Bullring. It also advances the second phase of the Beautification Plan, with €360,000.
The Local Government Board of Valdemorillo approved in its meeting on 24 September the contracting files for the concession of a new kiosk in La Nava Park and three premises in the lower part of the Candelaria Bullring, intended for entrepreneurial initiatives in the municipality.
The kiosk in La Nava Park will be granted for 10 years, with an annual fee of €2,500. The terms set two years of grace without payment, a third year at 50%, and full payment from the fourth year. The investment will be amortised over the concession period, with an estimated profit of around 25%.
In the case of the premises in the Bullring, the concession will be for 15 non-extendable years, with an annual fee of €7,200 for each. All of them will have a grace period of 10 years to ensure the amortisation of the investment made.
The Board also reported on the second phase of the Beautification Plan, endowed with €360,000, of which €60,000 is provided by the City Council. The works will allow for the continued improvement of sidewalks in public spaces, particularly on San Juan Street and Avenida de Segovia.
Additionally, it was reported on the processing of the contract for monitoring the street cleaning service and the awarding of contracts for the Active Points Programme, aimed at promoting sports activities among residents of all ages.
In other matters, the files for the administrative concession of the Municipal Language School are still being processed, and the contract for the concierge service at the Dehesa de los Godonales Sports Centre, the Senior Centre, and the María Giralt Building has been approved.
The Board has validated the bases of the selective process to temporarily incorporate twelve new workers into the City Council, within the framework of the Employment Programmes of the Community of Madrid, with a subsidy close to €226,000 for salaries, training, and social security contributions. It has also accepted the Co-Responsibles Programme, which covers Youth camps and facilitates family reconciliation, for over €85,000.
Among the new developments, the agreement with the Cybersecurity Agency of the Community of Madrid has been approved to protect municipal electronic administration against potential hacks, the update of public prices for the Las Meninas Nursery School, and the request for a subsidy to equip the Local Police with a drone and a new security and emergency vehicle.
