The Municipal Animation School of Rivas (EMAR) has opened registration for its cultural and musical workshops for the school year, aimed at the children and youth of the municipality. Applications are made online through the website inscripciones.rivasciudad.es.
The children's workshops are designed for those born between 2015 and 2020, while the youth activities are aimed at those born between 1996 and 2014. In both cases, the price ranges from €159 to €183 for 26 sessions that will begin in October.
Among the children's offerings are percussion and drums, keyboard and piano, drawing and painting (with groups for ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 11), and guitar. Classes are scheduled throughout the week in the afternoon, with sessions lasting 45 minutes or one hour depending on the discipline.
For young people, EMAR offers drums, drawing and painting, guitar, and keyboard and piano. Drawing and painting will be held on Mondays at the Social Area of Parque de Asturias or at the Hipatia centre, depending on the chosen schedule.
The registration period will remain open throughout September. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until the groups are full.
