The Municipal Sports Centre Las Eras will host the third edition of Video Game Day on Sunday, September 27, with free entry and activities from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00. There will be over 20 gaming stations, simulators, and tournaments with a maximum of 32 participants.
The Hoyo de Manzanares Town Hall, through the Youth Department, is organising the III Video Game Day, which will take place on Sunday September 27 at the Municipal Sports Centre Las Eras. The event is free and open to all, with split hours of 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
The event will feature more than twenty gaming stations divided into four zones. The Gamer Zone will have 10 PlayStation 5 consoles with 24-inch screens and DualSense controllers with haptic feedback. Available titles will include Astro’s Playroom, Rocket League, EA Sports FC 27, Fortnite, Street Fighter 6, and Tekken 8.
The Nintendo Zone will have 2 Nintendo Switch 2 consoles with 40-inch screens and the games Mario Kart World and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The Simulation Zone will feature 2 professional Real Racer X simulators with the game Project Cars 2, while the Virtual Reality Zone will offer 3 VR devices with updated experiences.
The official tournaments will allow a maximum of 32 participants per competition. The Mario Kart World tournament will start at 12:00, with registrations at the sports centre from 11:00. The EA Sports FC 27 tournament will take place at 17:00, with registrations starting at 16:00 in the same venue.
All equipment will be supervised by specialised technical staff throughout the event, according to the Town Hall.
The III Video Game Day is an opportunity to share healthy leisure, discover new technologies, and enjoy a participatory atmosphere.
The event is aimed at young people, families, and enthusiasts of all ages. No prior registration is required to participate in the tournaments: simply come to the Municipal Sports Centre Las Eras on Sunday, September 27, and sign up at the venue before the start of each competition.
