Moraleja de Enmedio is finalising preparations for its Major Festivals in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Health, which will take place from 27 August to 8 September. Over nearly two weeks, the municipality will host a programme designed for all audiences, featuring cultural, musical, sporting, and traditional activities.
The Town Hall has presented a programme that combines proposals for all ages, aiming for residents and visitors to enjoy a festive atmosphere in the streets. The agenda includes everything from religious events to recreational activities, as well as events for groups and families.
The big weekend will begin on Saturday 5 September, when the groups and residents will take centre stage with the parade, the opening speech, and the traditional chupinazo. This event will officially kick off days of celebration and community.
The following day, Sunday 6 September, the Major Mass in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Health will be celebrated, followed by a procession through the streets of the municipality. A day marked by devotion and tradition, with great participation expected.
The festivities will conclude on 8 September with the traditional end-of-festivities chocolate event in Plaza de España, an occasion that will provide a fitting finale to the celebrations. The complete programme is available on the Town Hall's website for those interested to check schedules and activities.
