The City Council of San Martín de la Vega is preparing a Halloween programme with haunted passages, musicals, parties, and youth activities. The events will take place between October 24 and November 1, with several free proposals.
The agenda kicks off on Saturday, October 24 with the Haunted Passage, which this year is themed around a sanatorium. It will take place at the Municipal Auditorium from 18:00 to 01:00 hours and entry is free.
On Sunday, October 25, at 18:00 hours, the same auditorium will host the family musical Pumpkin Party, also with free entry. Tickets can be collected at the Auditorium box office starting from Monday, October 19.
For the little ones, there is also the Monstrudisco in the Town Hall square, featuring entertainment, music, Halloween characters, and a children's costume contest with prizes for three categories.
The Municipal Library has scheduled two activities for Friday, October 30. At 17:30 hours, Storytelling Friday will present A Real Witch in the Multi-Purpose Room, aimed at audiences aged 3 years and up. At 20:00 hours, The Enchanted Library will offer games, stories, and surprises for children aged 6 to 12 years, who can spend the night among books until Saturday, October 31 at 12:00 hours. The cost is 20 euros and includes monitors, dinner, and breakfast.
For young people, the Territorio Joven space is organising the Monster Rave, a light disco for those aged 12 to 17 years with music, entertainment, and a raffle for a Nintendo Switch 2. Young people aged 14 to 18 years can also participate in an excursion to the Madrid Amusement Park, which includes access to The Walking Dead Experience.
The City Council states that:
We want our residents, especially the younger ones, to find attractive and quality leisure proposals in their own municipality, without the need to travel to other towns.
