The Alcalá Bullfighting Fair Kicks Off This Thursday with the Cutting Contest

The Alcalá de Henares Bullfighting Fair begins this Thursday at La Estudiantil with cutting contests, bullfights featuring Luque, Talavante, and Urdiales.

La Plaza de Toros La Estudiantil will host the Alcalá de Henares Bullfighting Fair starting this Thursday, featuring a cutting contest and three major events until Sunday the 30th.

The Alcalá de Henares Bullfighting Fair will commence this Thursday 27th August at the Plaza de Toros La Estudiantil with a cutting contest scheduled for 10:30 PM. The cycle will continue until Sunday with three major events and the traditional release of cattle.

The first bullfight of the Fair will take place on Friday 28th and will be led by Daniel Luque, who will share the bill with Emilio de Justo and Fernando Adrián. The following day, Saturday 29th, there will be a novice bullfight with picadors featuring Nacho Torrejón, Pepe Burdiel, and Samuel Castrejón.

The cycle will conclude on Sunday 30th with a bullfight headlined by Diego Urdiales, Alejandro Talavante, and Víctor Hernández. Additionally, on 28th, 29th, and 30th August, starting from 10:00 AM, the traditional release of cattle will take place in the same arena.

Alcalá de Henares once again has a bullfighting fair worthy of a city like ours, which is becoming more established in the regional scene, becoming increasingly attractive to fans, featuring top-level figures,” stated Antonio Saldaña, councillor for Festivals and Popular Traditions.

Fans from the region will be able to enjoy a lineup featuring established names and young talents. Tickets for the various events can be purchased at the box office of the arena and through the usual channels of the Alcalá venue.
