The Valdilecha Town Hall makes the Book of the Patronal Festivals in honour of the Virgen de la Oliva available to residents from this Monday, with a maximum of three copies per person.
The municipality of Valdilecha is already gearing up for its patronal festivals in honour of the Virgen de la Oliva. From this Monday, August 17, residents can collect the 2026 Festival Book at the Town Hall, with a limit of three copies per person, or consult it on the municipal website.
The publication includes the complete programme for days that, as highlighted by the mayor, José Javier López González, are "much more than a celebration": a time for reunion, traditions, and coexistence among residents and visitors.
In his greeting, the mayor thanks the work of the Department of Festivities, the festival committee, clubs, associations, brotherhoods, and collaborating businesses, as well as municipal workers, the Local Police, and the Civil Guard, who make the organisation possible.
Your involvement demonstrates, once again, the strength and commitment of our town," says López González.
The mayor also has words for those who will not be able to enjoy the festivities due to health reasons, sending them "all my love and best wishes for recovery," and remembers the deceased residents, "who are part of the history and heart of our town."
The programme, designed "from the youngest to our elders," will fill the streets of Valdilecha with joy and activities. The book, already available at the town hall and on the municipal website, is the guide to not miss any events of these upcoming festivities.
With the slogan "Long live the Virgen de la Oliva! Long live Valdilecha!", the Town Hall encourages everyone to enjoy each activity "with joy, respect, and responsibility." Interested individuals can collect their copy during Town Hall office hours or consult it online.
