On Monday, 24 August 2026, the asphalt works on Camino de Afligidos in Alcalá de Henares will commence as part of the Mobility and Accessibility Improvement Project. The work will focus on the section between the intersection with calle Bruselas and calle Ceuta.

From that day until the end of the work, traffic on this road will be affected. The concessionaire will install informative signs in residential parking areas and at the entrances to affected establishments and garages.

The Local Police recommends that drivers use the marked routes and respect the provisional signage at all times. They also urge residents and visitors to exercise caution while moving through the area.

The works are part of the improvement of mobility and accessibility in the municipality, a project aimed at renewing the surface of one of the most used access points in the neighbourhood.

The Alcalá de Henares City Council apologises for the inconvenience and thanks citizens for their understanding and cooperation during the development of the works.
