Bus lines 713 and 717 extend their route in Tres Cantos from today, with a new terminus on Antoni Gaudí street.

Bus lines 713 and 717 are extending their route in Tres Cantos from today to bring public transport closer to the northern area, where the number of residents has increased due to the delivery of new housing. The route now extends along Juan Pablo II avenue to Antoni Gaudí street, where a new stop has been established that will serve as the terminus for both lines.

Previously, the route ended at Juan Pablo II avenue, near Emilio Tuñón street. With this modification, the buses will continue along this road until they reach the intersection with Antoni Gaudí street.

The service is also reaching an area that has experienced a significant increase in population in recent months, following the delivery of various residential buildings,” explains the Councillor for Mobility, María del Mar Sánchez.

The new stop, named 21465 Av. Juan Pablo II Antonio Gaudí, becomes the terminus for lines 713 and 717, facilitating access to the bus for the hundreds of residents who have recently moved to this northern area of the municipality.

The aim of the City Council is for public transport to continue to accompany the development of the city and to offer a service that is increasingly close and accessible. Therefore, the Council will continue to work to improve frequencies and routes, as fundamental elements of mobility in Tres Cantos,” adds the councillor.

Users of both lines can now use the new stop from today, which serves as the starting and ending point for the journeys.
