The City Council of Coslada has granted 580 financial aids amounting to 301,584.52 euros between January 1 and July 24, 2026. The bulk of the benefits has been allocated to meal scholarships, family aid, housing, nursery schools, and needs of minors.
The largest allocation corresponds to 252 meal scholarships, amounting to 88,491 euros. This is followed by 76 housing aids, totalling 87,448 euros; 87 family aids, with 63,775 euros; 44 nursery school scholarships, for 15,677.21 euros, and 45 complementary aids for minors, reaching 10,493 euros.
In the educational field, families can access the Accede Programme, which provides textbooks and curricular materials to students in Primary, Secondary, and Basic Vocational Training in publicly funded schools in the Community of Madrid. When there is a situation of vulnerability, the municipal Social Services assess each case and can grant aid for basic needs, activities aimed at minors, or the purchase of school and computer materials, including devices to follow classes.
One of the features of the system is that aid can be requested throughout the year, and not just at the beginning of the school year, to address the need as it arises. Coordination between municipal areas allows for individualized attention for each family.
