The Galapagar Town Hall is organising free in-person workshops at La Posada during October and November on job searching, artificial intelligence, CVs, LinkedIn, and interviews. The offer is complemented by online training and is open to both employed and unemployed individuals.
The Galapagar Town Hall has opened registration for a new programme of free training courses for employment that will take place during the months of October and November. The in-person workshops are held at the municipal building of La Posada, located at plaza de la Constitución number 9, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and are aimed at both employed and unemployed individuals.
The in-person offer includes six courses of varying durations. The first, “Strategies and Techniques for Job Searching”, lasting 32 hours, has already begun, with upcoming sessions on September 24, 28, 29, and 30, and October 1 and 5.
For October, four workshops have been scheduled: “Application of AI in Job Searching and Access”, lasting 4 hours, on October 6; “Keys to Success in CV and Cover Letter Preparation”, lasting 8 hours, on October 7 and 8, and October 20 and 21; “Learn to Use LinkedIn and Other Professional Networks”, lasting 8 hours, on October 15 and 19, and October 27 and 28; and “Effective Techniques for Facing a Job Interview”, lasting 8 hours, on October 22 and 26.
The in-person programme concludes in November with “Personal and Social Skills”, lasting 32 hours, which will be held on November 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 16, and 17.
In addition to these workshops, there is a 100% online training platform with updated and employment-oriented content, allowing participants to choose from courses of different durations. According to the Town Hall, this modality has a practical focus, and those who complete it will receive a non-regulated training diploma with curricular value. Both in-person and online training are free.
These initiatives are part of the collaboration agreement between the Community of Madrid and the Galapagar Town Hall to promote equality of opportunities between men and women.
