From September 1 to 4, CEIP Virgen de la Encina will host Days Without School for children aged 3 to 12. Registrations are open until August 27.
The 1st of September marks the start of Days Without School in Hoyo de Manzanares, an educational leisure service that will take place at CEIP Virgen de la Encina on September 1, 2, 3, and 4, 2026. It is aimed at children aged 3 to 12 years and aims to facilitate family and work-life balance.
The registration period is now open and will close on August 27 at 14:00. Interested families can register their children in person at the Municipal Centre for Social Services (Avenida de la Paloma, 11) or online through the electronic headquarters of the THAM Consortium, which requires an electronic ID, digital certificate, or 24-hour PIN.
This year's edition is themed “The museum comes to life” and each day will present a different adventure: a night at the museum, the hall of ancient giants, the corridor of crazy artworks, or the secret of the lost museum. All activities are educational and recreational in nature.
The basic schedule is from 9:00 to 14:00 without lunch and until 15:30 with lunch. Additionally, extended hours are offered: entry at 7:30 or 8:00, and exit at 16:30 or 17:00.
The price is 13 euros without lunch and 20 euros with lunch. Families with more than two children enrolled receive a discount starting from the third sibling: 11 euros without lunch and 17 euros with lunch.
Each extended hour segment has an additional charge per child per day: 4 euros for entry at 7:30, 3 euros for entry at 8:00, 3 euros for exit at 16:30, and 4 euros for exit at 17:00.
It is mandatory to register each child in advance by completing a registration form and a medical form. Previous registration data is not valid, so it must be resubmitted. Payment must be made within the registration period through a self-assessment obtained upon formalizing the application.
This program is subsidised through the Corresponsables Plan of the Ministry of Equality. For more information, families can contact Social Services at the phone number 91 856 78 74.
