The Majadahonda City Council approved this Thursday the two local holidays for 2027: Tuesday 14th September, for the Most Holy Christ of Remedies, and Thursday 25th November, for Santa Catalina.
The Majadahonda City Council approved this Thursday the proposal from the municipal government to set the local holidays for the municipality in 2027. The two holidays will be Tuesday 14th September 2027, in celebration of the Most Holy Christ of Remedies, and Thursday 25th November 2027, the day of Santa Catalina, the patron saint of the city.
These two local holidays are in addition to the 11 holidays celebrated nationally and the regional holiday of the Community of Madrid. Thus, the work calendar for Majadahonda in 2027 totals 14 public holidays.
The proposal was supported by the municipal corporation in the plenary session this Thursday, as agreed by the Council. With this decision, the residents of Majadahonda now know the two non-working days specific to the municipality for the coming year, which are added to those set by the national and regional calendars.
