The Rivas-Vaciamadrid City Council opens free registration in September for two citizen participation spaces for minors. The Children's Forum accepts registrations from September 15 to 23, and the Youth Forum from September 21 to 30.
Minors who study or live in Rivas-Vaciamadrid can sign up this month for the children's and youth forums, two free citizen participation programs that will start their meetings in October. The registration period for the Children's Forum runs from September 15 to 23, and for the Youth Forum, from September 21 to 30. In both cases, registration opens on the first day at 10:00.
The Children's Forum is aimed at primary school students and operates under the motto "To make Rivas better, you don't need to be older." Groups meet weekly, on Thursdays or Fridays from 16:30 to 17:45 or on Saturdays from 11:30 to 12:45, in different spaces around the municipality. Sessions begin from October 8, and an educational team accompanies participants to help them learn to work in groups and develop proposals for change in the city.

The Youth Forum is designed for young people aged 12 to 18 who live or study in Rivas. The first session will be on Friday, October 23, from 16:00 to 18:00, in the auditorium of the Social Area of Parque Asturias. The program gives voice to the concerns of the youth of Rivas and seeks to implement initiatives to improve the municipality and make it more accessible and inclusive.
Registrations are processed on the Rivas municipal registration website. The Children's Forum opens its form on September 15, and the Youth Forum on the 21st, both at 10:00.
