The City Council of Rivas-Vaciamadrid has opened the application period for places at the children's centres Rayuela and Bhima Sangha. Applications can be submitted from 7 September and places will be allocated on 18 September.
The City Council of Rivas-Vaciamadrid has opened the registration period for the annual activities of the municipal centres for children Rayuela and Bhima Sangha. The offer, which falls under the name 'The Universe of Teca', is designed for children aged 0 to 12 years and their families.
Applications are made online at inscripciones.rivasciudad.es from 7 September. Places will be allocated on 18 September, although applications will remain open until May 2027 as long as there are vacancies. The child's age is taken as a reference on 1 October 2026.
The offer includes activities such as Getting to Know Each Other, for babies aged 0 to 4 months, a meeting space for families new to parenting; Discover Teca, for babies aged 4 to 11 months, focused on psychomotricity and sensory stimulation; and Explore Teca, for children aged 12 to 23 months, which encourages exploration through play and movement.
There are also proposals such as Marchoso Corner, for babies aged 12 months to 4 years, which uses music and body expression as a means of communication; English Family, for children aged 2 to 5 years, which introduces English in a playful way; and Family Adventures, for children aged 2 to 6 years, with manual activities and creative dynamics.
For older children, aged 7 to 10 years, there is Sewing and Playing, an introductory sewing workshop that aims to be a meeting space where thread and needle are the starting point for play.
“Our goal is not linguistic competition, but to awaken curiosity and create a positive and close environment where the language becomes another playmate,” explain the organisers of the English Family activity.
