On September 27, Torrelaguna hosts the BTT Route Canal de Isabel II with 45 and 35 km routes. 400 spots allocated on a first-come basis until September 21.

The Sierra Norte will celebrate the 175th anniversary of Canal de Isabel II with a cycling event in Torrelaguna. The BTT Route Canal de Isabel II will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, starting and finishing in the municipality, organised by the public entity in collaboration with the Community of Madrid.

The event offers two distances: a long route of 45 kilometres and a short route of 35 kilometres. Both allow mountain bikes (MTB/BTT), gravel bikes, and assisted electric bikes (E-Bike).

The participation limit is set at 400 spots, which will be allocated on a first-come basis through the website rutabtt.canaldeisabelsegunda.es. The deadline to reserve a bib number ends on September 21, 2026.

The first 200 registrants will receive the official commemorative jersey for the event, designed for this special edition celebrating the 175th anniversary of Canal de Isabel II.

The organisation recommends that participants check the route information on the official website before the event and arrive early in Torrelaguna to formalise the start.
