Coslada's Local Police has opened a sanctioning file after locating a large-scale dumping on Coberteras Street, very close to the Clean Point. The fine can reach 600 euros.
The Local Police of Coslada has detected a large-scale dumping of construction debris in bags on Coberteras Street, just a few meters from the municipal Clean Point. The intervention took place recently and has resulted in the opening of a sanctioning file.
The action was supported by a passerby who provided an image showing the vehicle used for the unloading. The officers documented the events through a report and forwarded the information to the relevant department.
Now, the Department of Environment, through the legal services of the City Council, has initiated a file against the author or authors as presumed responsible for an infringement of the Municipal Ordinance on Environmental Protection. Economic sanctions in such cases can amount to 600 euros, plus an indeterminate amount for street cleaning services.
The City Council reminds that the Clean Point of Coslada, also on Coberteras Street, is available to all residents for disposing of any type of waste and ensuring its subsequent treatment.
For those who cannot travel, there is a Mobile Clean Point that visits different neighbourhoods of the municipality several days a week, as well as a home collection service for items.
