Alpedrete's cultural agenda for September 2026 is packed with proposals for all audiences. The programme kicks off with the exhibition RED ITINER: “Surrealismos” – Óscar Domínguez, which will be on display at the Asunción Balaguer Cultural Centre from 28 August to 21 September. This is an exhibition that brings the work of the surrealist painter closer to the municipality.
On the first Saturday of the month, 5 September, the Municipal Library will host a Weavers' Meeting from 10:30 to 13:30 hours. This event is designed for sharing techniques and projects among enthusiasts of this craft, with free entry.
Saturday 19 September will feature several of the most notable activities. In the morning, from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, a Circus Workshop will take place with free access until full capacity is reached. In the afternoon, at 18:30 hours, the Asunción Balaguer Cultural Centre will host the conference “Estío o verano tardío: Tiempo de transición”, presented by Lorenzo Bastida.
At 19:00 hours on the same day, the Plaza de Francisco Rabal will be the stage for the circus show Play Time, also free until full capacity is reached. An opportunity to enjoy an outdoor theatrical proposal with the family.
The exhibition “Nancy contra el cáncer” will open on Saturday 19 September at the Asunción Balaguer Cultural Centre and can be visited from 22 September to 10 October, from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours.
