The Town Hall of Aranjuez has organised a special programme for Hispanic Heritage that combines musical tributes on Friday 9 and institutional events on Monday 12 October, including the Flag Tribute and the Hispanic Mass.
The Town Hall of Aranjuez has scheduled a series of activities to commemorate Hispanic Heritage, spread between Friday 9 and Monday 12 October. The proposal mixes live music with the institutional events typical of the celebration.
The first event will be on Friday 9 October at 21:30 hours in the Plaza de la Constitución. There, the Tributes for Hispanic Heritage will kick off with DPEREZA, a tribute to Pereza and Leiva, and will continue with DELCANTO, a tribute to El Canto del Loco.
On Monday 12 October, Hispanic Heritage Day, the official events will take place. At 10:30 hours, the Plaza de Santiago Rusiñol will host the Flag Tribute.
An hour and a half later, at 12:00 hours, the traditional Hispanic Mass will be held at the Church of San Antonio.
The grand finale will come in the afternoon at the Plaza de San Antonio (Mariblanca). At 20:00 hours, the show ‘I am Rocío’ is scheduled, featuring the performance of the local singer Rocío Rivera.
The council has invited residents and visitors to participate in these activities. The complete programme can be consulted on the promotional posters published by the Town Hall of Aranjuez.
