The Chapinería Town Hall will hire 10 unemployed young people as gardening assistants thanks to a €261,450 grant from the Community of Madrid.
The Town Hall of Chapinería has been awarded a grant of €261,450 aimed at promoting youth employment. The aid, granted by the Community of Madrid, will allow for the hiring of 10 unemployed young people as gardening assistants.
The initiative is part of the Youth Employment Promotion Programme with Local Corporations – Professional Qualification, corresponding to the 2026 call. The aim is for participants to combine real employment with training and support to improve their job placement.
In addition to the 10 assistants, the programme includes two support roles: a learning tutor and a job advisor. Both will be responsible for guiding the qualification process and professional development of the young people.
The action is financed by the Community of Madrid under the Order of May 8, 2023 and the Order of December 3, 2025, both from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment. It is also part of the FSE+ Programme 2021-2027.
With this grant, the Chapinería council reinforces its commitment to youth employment and actions that benefit the municipality. Those interested in participating must be registered as job seekers and meet the programme's requirements.
