The municipal programme Móstoles Cultural will offer over twenty workshops taught by 30 associations in five sociocultural centres between October and June 2027. Enrolment opens on September 1.
The City Council of Móstoles has presented the new edition of Móstoles Cultural, a programme of courses and workshops that will take place from October to June 2027 in five spaces across the city. The offering, coordinated by the Department of Education and Culture, is designed for all ages and covers a wide range of disciplines.
Among the workshops are theatre, yoga, sign language, dance, capoeira, IT, analogue photography, wood carving and sculpture, tai chi, pilates, drawing and painting, lace-making, piano, English, and ceramics. Classes will be held at the Cultural Centre Villa de Móstoles, the Norte-Universidad Sociocultural Centre, the Caleidoscopio Sociocultural Centre, the El Soto Sociocultural Centre, and the Joan Miró Sociocultural Centre.
The aim, according to municipal sources, is to provide quality leisure and free time proposals that cater to the creativity, skills, and artistic abilities of the participants. The complete programme is available at the cultural centres and on the municipal culture website.
Enrolment for the Móstoles Cultural workshops can be formalised from September 1, by contacting the cultural associations directly, either by email or by phone. A total of 30 associations are participating in this edition.
On another note, the Ciudad de Móstoles Dance School opens enrolment for new students from September 1 to 3. Applications can be made by phone at 916 647 596 and 654 344 386, from 10:00 to 14:00, or by email at NBE.escueladedanzacdm@mostoles.es. The quarterly fee ranges from 36 to 60 euros.
This year's offering combines classic activities with more specific ones, such as analogue photography or capoeira, allowing residents to find options tailored to their interests. Early registration is recommended, as some places tend to fill up in the first few days.
