CineLab opens its assembly in Rivas to define the 2026-2027 course

The municipal program CineLab will hold an open assembly on Thursday 24th September at 19:30 at the Federico García Lorca cultural centre to define the content for the 2026-2027 course and gather citizen proposals.

The municipal program CineLab kicks off the 2026-2027 course with an assembly format session taking place on Thursday 24th September at 19:30 in the Marcos Ana room of the Federico García Lorca cultural centre in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Admission is free and anyone interested in the audiovisual field can participate.

During the meeting, the guidelines for short films and projects for the QueerCineMad Rivas 2026 festival will be presented, and citizen proposals will be collected for the local short film competition of the Rivas Film Festival, which takes place in March. The programming and planned activities for the upcoming monthly CineLab sessions will also be advanced.

The event is coordinated by the Department of Culture and the film entities of the municipality. CineLab was established in 2014 and is celebrating its 12th year as a networking space for audiovisual creation in Rivas-Vaciamadrid.

The assembly will take place in the Marcos Ana room of the Federico García Lorca cultural centre, with free entry until capacity is reached.
