The Ricardo León Library in Galapagar hosts workshops, a reading club, a trivia tournament, and a Cluedo inspired by the Harry Potter saga from October 8 to 17. Entry is free until capacity is reached, and activities requiring registration must be reserved via email.
The Municipal Library Ricardo León of Galapagar joins the Harry Potter Book Day 2026 with a programme running from October 8 to 17. All activities will take place at the library with free entry until capacity is reached, and those requiring prior reservation must be requested via email at biblioteca@galapagar.es.
The inauguration will be on Thursday, October 8 at 18:00 with the exhibition 'Spells and Potions', featuring items loaned by Miriam Camacho, which will be open for viewing until October 25. At 18:30 on the same day, the 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' Reading Club will begin, aimed at those over 8 years old, with minors accompanied by an adult. Prior registration is required to participate in this activity.
On Thursday, October 15 at 19:00, there will be a conference 'Classical Mythology in the Harry Potter Saga (II)', interpreted in Spanish sign language (LSE) and aimed at adult audiences. It is organised by Blas Bouzas Moares.
On Friday, October 16, there will be two proposals: at 18:00, the workshop 'Artistic Potions' for ages 6 and up, and at 19:00, the Harry Potter Trivia Tournament for ages 12 and up. For those under that age, participation will be consulted during registration.
The programme will conclude on Saturday, October 17 with the workshop 'Harry Potter Lettering and the Calligraphy of the Magical Universe' at 18:00 for all audiences, and the Harry Potter Cluedo: 'Mystery at Hogwarts' at 19:00 for ages 10 and up. Both activities require prior registration via the indicated email.
