The Local Police of San Lorenzo de El Escorial now has a comprehensive intelligent urban traffic management system, supplied, installed, configured, and put into service. The solution is centralised in the police headquarters and allows monitoring of access points and interior locations within the municipality.
The equipment includes high-resolution IP cameras with night vision and automatic number plate recognition capabilities, as well as speed measurement systems, communications, supports, and power supply. These devices cover both access points and various locations within the municipal area.
The incorporated software allows for vehicle counting and classification, number plate capture and traceability, flow consultation, and access control. The platform is compatible with the Smart City Platform and relies on a local server, mass storage of images and data, and a viewing panel.
According to municipal information, the system provides historical and real-time data for operational management, road safety, and mobility planning in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The data is centralised in the Local Police headquarters.
