The Town Hall of Galapagar opens registration for a new free training programme, featuring six in-person workshops at La Posada and an online platform with pathways such as 'Digitalízate con IA'.
The Town Hall of Galapagar has launched a new edition of its free training programme to improve the employability of residents, both employed and unemployed. The offer combines six in-person courses to be held at the municipal building of La Posada, located at Plaza de la Constitución number 9, and a virtual campus with dozens of pathways.
The in-person workshops, which will take place between September and November from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, address the most sought-after skills in current selection processes: from job search strategies to the use of artificial intelligence as a tool for finding work.
The most extensive course, 'Job Search Strategies and Techniques', comprises 32 teaching hours and will be held on September 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30. This will be followed by shorter training sessions in October, such as 'Application of AI in Job Search and Access' (4 hours, on October 6) or 'Keys to Success in CV and Cover Letter Preparation' (8 hours, on October 7 and 8, and 20 and 21).The programme is completed with 'Effective Techniques for Facing a Job Interview' (October 13 and 14, and 22 and 29), 'Learn to Use LinkedIn and Other Professional Networks' (October 15 and 19, and 27 and 28), and 'Personal and Social Skills', which will close the cycle with 32 hours spread between November 3 and 17.
In addition to the in-person training, the Town Council has designed its own online platform, created based on the analysis of the sociodemographic reality of the municipality and its business fabric. The virtual campus offers courses ranging from 20 hours to longer training in areas such as digital skills, commerce and marketing, logistics, or the socio-health sector.
Among the online content, the pathway 'Digitalízate con IA' stands out, which includes training in artificial intelligence applied to business, task automation, digital marketing with AI, content creation, and professional productivity. All online courses are flexible in duration and modality, and upon completion, a non-regulated training diploma with curricular value is awarded.
Both the in-person and online training are free and aimed at employed and unemployed individuals. These actions are part of the collaboration agreement between the Community of Madrid and the Town Hall of Galapagar to promote equal opportunities between men and women.
