The I March for Railway Memory takes place over three stages in the Sierra de Guadarrama from September 25 to 27. The third stage, on Sunday the 27th, passes through the Penal Detachment of Lozoyuela and ends in Garganta de los Montes.

The I March for Railway Memory is held on September 25, 26, and 27 with three stages through different locations in the Sierra de Guadarrama. The initiative aims to recover and highlight places linked to democratic memory and forced labour in the infrastructures of the Direct Madrid-Burgos.

The municipal historian will participate in the march and share his knowledge about the history and heritage of Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias and the area.

The first stage, on Friday the 25th, goes from Soto del Real to the Penal Detachment of Chozas de la Sierra and ends in Miraflores de la Sierra. It covers between 12 and 14 kilometres with low-medium difficulty.

On Saturday the 26th, the route connects Miraflores de la Sierra with the Penal Detachment Bustarviejo (Los Barracones) and finishes in Bustarviejo, spanning about 10.5 kilometres with moderate difficulty.

The third day, Sunday the 27th, departs from Bustarviejo and passes through the Penal Detachment of Valdemanco, the Penal Detachment of Lozoyuela, and Garganta de los Montes. The route is 11 to 12 kilometres long with moderate difficulty.

Registrations and information are managed through four email addresses: patrimonio@chozasdelasierra.org, asociacion.ecosdemiraflores@hotmail.es, amhlosbarracones@gmail.com, and parapeto.gandullas@gmail.com.
