The deadline to reserve a spot in the UPA workshops, aimed at children, young people, and adults, will be open from September 10 to 18. Classes will begin on October 1.
The Popular University of Aranjuez (UPA) opens this Thursday, September 10, the pre-registration period for workshops for the 2026/2027 academic year, which will start on October 1. Interested parties can formalise their application until September 18.
Registration can be done online, through the form available on the municipal website, or in person at the Cecilio Fernández Bustos Sociocultural Centre, located at Calle de las Moreras, 32. The opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 17:00 to 20:30, and Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 13:30.
The offer includes workshops in performing arts, such as children's theatre (ages 5 to 12), youth theatre (ages 13 to 17), and adult theatre (from 18, with options for stage creation, acting training, and senior classes). In visual arts, there are proposals from age 5: creativity, children's drawing, comics, painting, watercolour, engraving, sculpture, ceramics, and more. Workshops in language, literature, and humanities are also offered, such as poetry (from age 16), art and literature (from age 18), storytelling, or museum visits.
Interested individuals can visit the sociocultural centre to learn about the programme and resolve any questions with the teaching team.
