The Móstoles Verbena programme continues this weekend with flamenco ballet, swing, circus and puppets. All performances are free and take place in the Plaza del Sol, Plaza de la Cultura and the Puppet Theatre of Finca Liana.

The Móstoles City Council keeps its summer Verbena and Children's Verbena alive with a new series of free shows for all audiences. This weekend, from August 21 to 23, the offer combines flamenco ballet, traditional jazz, circus and puppets in various outdoor venues in the town.

On Friday, August 21, at 21:30, the Plaza del Sol del PAU-4 will host 'Enredos', a circus and acrobatics show by the company A Vela Circo. The proposal starts with a question: what would happen if a clown inherited the century-old family business? The performance mixes humour, circus skills and visual poetry in a story where unexpected events follow until each piece finds its place.

The next day, Saturday 22, the Plaza de la Cultura becomes the stage for the 'Ballet Flamenco de Lo Ferro', from the Peña Flamenca 'Melón de Oro'. The performance, scheduled for 21:30, promises a night full of strength, talent and passion for flamenco dancing, with a staging that aims to create great anticipation among the audience.

On Sunday 23, the day starts at 11:00 with 'The Musicians of Bremen', a puppet show by the company 'El retablo de la ventana' at the Puppet Theatre of Finca Liana. The story follows Kiko, the rooster; Roberto, the dog; and Ramón, the donkey, animals that flee from the farm to avoid being sacrificed and embark on a journey full of crazy adventures with the hope of becoming musicians in Bremen.

That same Sunday, at 21:30, the Plaza de la Cultura will welcome the New Orleans Dixie Band with their show 'Red Hot Swing'. The performance brings a piece of New Orleans to the audience with the spirit of hot jazz, characterised by collective improvisation and an energetic, danceable rhythm.

With this programme, the Móstoles City Council, through the Department of Education and Culture, offers a varied musical and entertainment offer aimed especially at children and families during the weekends of July and August. All performances are free and open to the public until capacity is reached.
