The municipal schools and workshops of the Las Rozas Culture Foundation have closed the 2025/26 year with historic participation: 2,759 unique students enrolled in the four schools and cultural workshops of the municipality.
The Joaquín Rodrigo Municipal Music School was again the largest, with 1,143 students spread across 105 groups. Throughout the year, 34 auditions and concerts were organized where students showcased their work on stage.
Following closely is the Pilar López Municipal Dance School, which had 526 students in 77 groups and held 21 performances and events open to the public.
The Municipal Theatre School brought together 262 students in 16 groups, consolidating a training offer that continues to spark interest among residents of all ages.
The offer was completed with the municipal cultural workshops, which recorded 828 students distributed across 117 groups. Additionally, during the year, 19 monographic courses and special activities were developed, expanding training possibilities.
In total, the activities of the schools and workshops resulted in 55 performances, concerts, and auditions open to the public, with a total of 3,552 participants, providing an opportunity for students to share the results of their learning.
The Las Rozas Culture Foundation reaffirms its commitment to quality artistic training, accessible to all ages and oriented towards learning and participation in the cultural life of the city.
Registrations for the next course usually open in June and September, and information is published on the municipal website and at the centres themselves.
