The Redueña Town Hall opens the call for participation in the VIII Photography Contest, themed 'The Funniest Photo of the Festivals'. Images can be submitted between August 31 and September 6, 2026.
The Redueña Town Hall has presented the eighth edition of its photography contest, which this year invites participants to capture the most spontaneous and joyful moments of the patronal festivals. Under the slogan “The Funniest Photo of the Festivals”, the contest aims to gather snapshots that reflect the fun, tradition, and togetherness of these celebrations.
The call is open to anyone, whether professional or amateur, and each author may submit a maximum of two photographs. The works must be original and unpublished, in colour or black and white, and can be taken with either a mobile phone or a camera. Digital editing is allowed as long as it seeks an artistic vision.
The submission period begins on August 31 and ends on September 6, 2026. Photographs must be sent via email to ayuntamiento@reduena.com, indicating in the subject line “Photography Contest” and including the author's name and the title of the work.
The Redueña Town Hall emphasizes that images containing violence, racism, sexism, or any offensive or discriminatory content will not be accepted. Furthermore, it reserves the right to reject those that infringe upon the privacy or dignity of individuals.
All accepted photographs will be printed and exhibited in the Plenary Hall of the Redueña Town Hall from September 7 to 11, 2026, during public opening hours. At the end of the exhibition, participants will be able to collect their printed copy at the municipal offices.
This year's theme is once again linked to the patronal festivals, an event that the municipality wishes to preserve through the eyes of locals and visitors. The complete rules are already available at the town hall for those who wish to consult all the details before submitting their works.
