On October 17, the Sierra Norte of Madrid will host a new day of 'Routes through the walls that speak', a bus tour of the murals of eight municipalities, including Redueña. The activity is free and requires prior registration.
On October 17, the Sierra Norte of Madrid will host a new day of the initiative “Routes through the walls that speak”, which aims to discover the heritage and identity of the towns through their urban art murals. The bus tour will pass through La Cabrera, Valdemanco, Bustarviejo, Navalafuente, Cabanillas de la Sierra, Redueña, Venturada, and El Vellón.
The departure is scheduled from La Cabrera at 9:30 AM. The bus will make stops in Valdemanco (9:55), Bustarviejo (10:30), Navalafuente (11:00), Cabanillas de la Sierra (11:25), Redueña (11:50), Venturada (12:20), and El Vellón (12:50). Participants can board at any of these points and disembark in the municipality of their choice.
During the day, a tour guide will accompany the group and a tasting of local products will be offered. The price includes bus transport, the guide, the tasting, and accident and civil liability insurance.
The activity is free, but prior reservation is required via the QR code on the poster. More information can also be requested by calling 630 430 128. It is necessary to be registered in one of the 42 municipalities of the Sierra Norte of Madrid, a condition that will be verified by the corresponding town hall.
The initiative is promoted by the Tourism Innovation Centre of Sierra Norte de Madrid – Villa San Roque, as part of the Villages with Life program. The Redueña Town Hall encourages residents to participate in this day to learn about the murals and the most unique corners of the region.
