The Dos de Mayo Municipal Library in San Martín de la Vega kicks off a new season of 'Story Fridays' this Friday, 25th September, with weekly sessions at 5:30 PM until December. The programme includes baby stories, workshops, and a meeting with author Amaia del Campo.
The Dos de Mayo Municipal Library in San Martín de la Vega begins a new season of 'Story Fridays' this Friday, 25th September. The sessions will take place every Friday at 5:30 PM until December, as reported by the City Council through the Department of Culture.
The first event will be A World of Magic, a Story Time session for children aged 3 and above, which will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room. The programme combines activities tailored to different ages: from baby stories for children aged 6 months to 3 years to storytelling and workshops for those over 3 and 5 years old.
Among the highlighted activities is a meeting with children's author Amaia del Campo, scheduled for 16th October, titled 'Cyclopes and Princesses, Mysteries and Surprises'. There will also be a session linked to the 41st Book Fair of the Community of Madrid on 23rd October in the Children's Room.
Two of the events require prior registration at the Municipal Library: the workshop 'Scientific Stars' on 6th November (registrations from 26th October) and the workshop 'The Water Cycle. 175th Anniversary of the Canal de Isabel II' on 20th November (registrations from 9th November).
The library is also working on 'The Enchanted Library', a night camp that will have special editions for Halloween and Christmas.

2nd October: Baby Stories - The Colours of the World (6 months to 3 years).
9th October: Storytelling - The World Upside Down.
16th October: Meeting with Amaia del Campo.
23rd October: 41st Book Fair of the Community of Madrid.
30th October: Storytelling - A Real Witch.
6th November: Storytelling + workshop - Scientific Stars (registration from 26th October).
13th November: Baby Stories - Cotton Clouds.
20th November: Workshop - The Water Cycle (registration from 9th November).
27th November: Storytelling - Travelling with Stories.
4th December: Baby Stories - Stars and Moons.
11th December: Christmas Stories - The Adventurous Gingerbread Cookie.
18th December: Christmas Stories - Whitebeard.
All activities will take place at 5:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room, except for the one on 23rd October, which will be in the Children's Room. For the workshops that require it, registrations are formalised at the Dos de Mayo Municipal Library in San Martín de la Vega.
