The Floral Offering to San Miguel opens the day at 19:45 at the Church of the Assumption. The Parade of Peñas, the speech by Ako Kullas for their 25th anniversary, and a fireworks display complete Wednesday the 23rd.
The San Miguel 2026 Festival in Villalbilla begins this Wednesday, 23rd September with a schedule that extends throughout the day. The first event will be at 19:45 at the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady, where peñas and locals will participate in the Floral Offering to San Miguel.
Fifteen minutes later, at 20:00, the peñas will gather at La Plazuela to start the Parade of Peñas, which will tour the streets of the municipality accompanied by the band “Los de la Cruz”.
The afternoon will also include the opening of a Purple Point in the Town Hall Square, operational from 20:30 to 23:30, to prevent gender-based violence during the celebrations.
The central event will be at 21:00 from the town hall balcony: the peña “Ako Kullas” will read the Festival Speech, coinciding with their 25th anniversary.
The night will continue at 23:30 with a Fireworks Display visible from the grounds of the Paseo de Pereda. At midnight, the Tent in the Kiosk Square will open with a live performance by the group “Estudio ’80”.
