On Saturday 5 September, at 6:00 PM, the gardens of the Casa de Cultura in Valdemorillo will host the performance of ‘Wellcome & Sorry’, a gestural comedy by the company Ganso & Cía included in the programming of the September festivities. Access is free.
The play, recommended for ages 6 and up, parodies classics like ‘Hamlet’ by Shakespeare through the language of clowning and without dialogues. Two characters travel the world generating absurd and comedic situations, designed to connect with audiences of all ages.
It is a clown comedy for all audiences that leaves no one indifferent,” the organisers state.
The performance is part of the Network of Theatres of the Community of Madrid and was initially scheduled for July, but was postponed due to the smoke from the wildfires recorded in the Sierra Oeste of Madrid. It is now being revived as one of the cultural offerings of the festive weekend.
The event is outdoors, so it is recommended to arrive early to choose a spot. No reservation is necessary.
